Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between data foundations and data literacy?
Data Foundations is about creating and looking after data well, for every employee. Data Literacy is about reading and questioning the analysis built on it, for everyone who uses reports.
Do you offer Power BI training?
Yes. Self Service Power BI is two days of hands on training for business users: connect and shape data, model it, write DAX and publish dashboards your teams rely on.
Do you offer Qlik Sense training?
Yes. Online, instructor led courses from first navigation to visualisation, data modelling and NPrinting, taught by certified trainers, with public dates and private sessions.
Do people need technical skills?
Not for Data Foundations, Data Literacy or Data Storytelling. Self Service Power BI needs working Excel knowledge but no SQL. Qlik Visualisation and Data Modelling are for super users and developers.
Can our teams in the UK take the training?
Yes. Data Foundations runs online from anywhere, the Qlik courses are online, and the other instructor led courses run online for teams in South Africa and the UK. In person sessions are available in South Africa. Public course times are South African time (UTC+2).
Can the course use our own data?
Yes. Self Service Power BI can be adapted to your data, terminology and reporting before delivery, and every course can run privately.
